Back in 1972, Dick & Sue Akers started Akers Signs. A few years ago, they gave Akers Signs to their son Rick Akers, who restructured the company into an electric sign shop. They no longer own or work at Akers Signs.
In 2001, Dick & Sue purchased Sign Pro from a local radio station. Now they work at Sign Pro everyday. Sign Pro specializes in vehicle graphics, banners, aluminum and plastic signs, digital printing, displays, and more.
